Week 8 Losers and Housekeeping

Happy Summer Losers!
First and foremost, let me apologize for last week's post confusion.  It was a crazy week and I forgot to create a new post...once I remembered some losers had just used the previous week's loser of the week post.  Not to confuse things more I just left as is.  Some losers did not get to post last week, so please include last week's loss or gain with your comment for this week's loss or gain....Karen C. needs your % to keep the spreadsheet accurate.

Week 8 Losers
Our Week 8 Losers are Marc and Donna....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

WEEK 9 WEIGH-IN
Please use this post to post Week 9 %

HOUSEKEEPING
All losers who owe money for past weeks or the remainder of the challenge must touch base with Moe and pay in full by the end of next week as overall losers will need to be paid at the end of Week 10 on June 29th!

Karen C. came up with a great 31 days of July challenge....pay $31 and if you lose 5% of your body weight by the end you  get your money back!  It's a WIN - WIN...you stay on course for the most part and get your money back.....you only weigh in at the beginning of the month and at the end!  If you do not stay on course and lose 5% your money is split between those who did.  If you are interested please plan on paying your $31 no later than July 1.....I guess I am packing my scale for the beach!

If anyone has any questions or concerns please post with your comments.

Can you believe we have been doing this since April??????   One more week to go......good luck to all of you.  If you reached your goal...congratulations!  If you have a little more work to do, but are smaller than when you started...Congratulations!!!!  If the weight didn't go on in ten weeks, it's not all coming off in ten weeks, but this was a fun weigh to jump start getting in shape with friends....I personally love the friendly competition and look forward to July!

  1. Karen C....Just a couple of comments on the July challenge; first of all, it is .5%. If you calculate .5% of your weight, you'll see it's hardly any weight loss BECAUSE our goal is really to maintain during the month. My other suggestion is to weigh in weekly. Although there's no weekly winner, weighing in weekly makes you face the scale and really keep you a little more focused rather than not looking at the scale for the entire month. Just a suggestion, majority rules : )
Now as proof that I need the July challenge, I am posting a .74 GAIN. School was out for 2 days and look what I did!! UGH.

  2. Sorry Karen....I guess I didn't read original post clearly. It's always the teachers who screw it up! I personally don't care how we do it, so long as we do it!

  3. So I am sitting at a big fat 0 for the week...
I asked my husband if he wieghed in and he simply said "no"
And walked away. So I am assuming he is done.
I will thank him for his donation
