Karen, I'd be interested in a summer challenge. Of course part of me feels like I'm setting myself up to fail but I have given it some thought and have an idea, not that we have to do this it's a start.....we do it for July and see how we like it. $31 for 31 days in July. The goal is to lose .5% which is not a lot but its enough to make better choices, stay a little in control and not gain back everything we just lost. It's really to maintain but we need to make it a little more challenging. We still have a weekly weigh in but with no weekly winner. Being summer, of course we'll have gains. You know that the more you gain, the harder you have to work as the end of July nears. You can be completely out of control for 3 weeks and starve yourself for 1 week or maintain and lose a tiny amount for the month, your choice. By the 31st day of July, if you lose .5%, you get your money back. If you don't lose 5%, your $31 gets split between everyone who did lose 5%. So you have the potential of this costing you 0$, $31 or winning everyone else's $31.....did I explain that right?!!! LOL!! Just a thought and obviously, .5% is not a lot of weight to lose in a month but enough to keep us on track.
