WEEK 1 LOSERS

Congratulations to our Week 1 Losers.....
Marc and Donna!

So here is how it works...once everyone has paid for Week 1 and Week 2 the payouts will be as follows:  For the girls....the weekly loser payout will be $15.00 and the overall loser at the end of the 10 weeks will win the $100.00 grand prize, as well as, the bragging rights to being Season 2 biggest loser!  Now if you so choose, you can put your winnings towards weekly payments, so Donna if you would like, your Week 1 winnings can be put towards Week 1-3 payments....just let Moe know.
For the guys....the weekly loser payout will be $10.00 and the overall loser will win the grand prize of $100.00 again along with bragging rights to being Season 2 biggest loser.....bragging rights seem to be worth more than the cash.  Same as for the girls, Marc if you wish your winnings can go to payment for Week 1-2.  Girls weekly payment is a little more than guys just because we have one more girl than guy.
Good luck to all losers Week 2.
Remember, the blog is here not just to weigh-in and post winners but also if you wish to share and idea or a recipe...we all love new recipes.  Last season we came up with some interesting challenge ideas as well....so keep the ideas coming!

Week 1

Welcome Losers to our Week 1 Weigh-in!
Here is a refresher for previous losers and info for our new losers.  I have included the link below for you to go on  and plug in Monday's weight and today's weight.  Remember, we go by % of weight loss, not pounds lost.  Once you have your % of weight loss you  can post it under the comment section of this post(be sure to start with your name).
Now keep in mind, at some point you need to get your money for Week 1, as well as Week 2, to Moe.  She won't be able to pay Week 1 losers if she has no money:).  If it is easier and you see me, you can give it to me and I will pass it along to Moe.  You may want to pay  a few weeks at a time.  Moe can give reminders to those who do if/when they owe money
Good luck losers!

One last thing....I am not sure why no other losers are listed as followers of the blog.  I will figure it out sometime this weekend.  Remember, last season you all signed-up to be authors of the blog and you could write posts as well...nobody took me up on it, but you may tire of me in the next 10 weeks and want to post one week, so let me know!

Welcome Spring Losers

Welcome Losers!
Before getting started everyone will need to make sure that you can access the blog.  If anyone has any trouble we have this week to tweek things.  Tommy and Donna, when you try to post a comment the blog should walk you through setting up either a yahoo or google account, if you do not already have one.  You can share one account or you can have seperate accounts and post individually(so long as its just not a family account as we do not invite the kids on our blog).
Everyone else should have accounts from the last time.

According to my quick calculations, 10 weeks should bring us roughly to the end of June (June 29th).  $5 a week per person will be paid to Maureen...you can pay weekly, every so often, or all at once.  Same as last time, half the money will go to the weekly loser and the other half will go towards the overall loser. We will once again have a girl and guy winner each week and overall.

One change from last time, everyone must post % on Fridays.  Some losers did have  computer isssues last season, which is understandable and I had some issues with the blog, which made it impossible to post, but it makes it difficult to determine losers and payouts if everyone doesn't post on the same day, so please just do your best!

Please text or e-mail any blog issues before Friday's weigh-in.  Everyone should weigh-in tomorrow(Monday, April 23) to get your start weight.  I know this will be a short week, but it seemed as if everyone wanted to get started sooner than later.  Before Friday's weigh-in I will do an addtional post with % calculator site.  You can use this post on Friday under comments to post %.

Good luck losers!  Please let me know if I forgot anything.  We have a few new losers this time and I want to make sure we give them all the info they need!
